Studio 222 provides expertise in purchasing and appraisal of artwork, as well as artist representation. We cultivate understanding and appreciation for artists and their mediums through presentations, exhibits and other events. We not only feature established artists, but are committed to promoting new and innovative talent. As a result, we are able to offer the most comprehensive viewing and acquisitioning experience.
Studio 222 is offering a new service to the community, artists, and students of the arts. Times for Life Drawing session will soon be announced. Anyone interested should call or e-mail the gallery (me) and get your name on the contact list. I will be posting times and details within the next week or two and will start sessions hopefully the first week of October. Don't wait if you are interested because spots may fill up quickly. Sessions will run for 2-3 hours at a rate of $10 per session. A multi session card can be purchased at a rate of $80 for 10 sessions.
If you, or anyone you know is interested in modeling for the life drawing sessions, please contact the gallery as soon as possible. Models time slots are limited and filling up fast.
Artist Services
Studio 222 goes beyond hanging artwork. Your art will be displayed and represented in the gallery. We pursue opportunities based on each artist's preference and the direction they would like to take their careers, as well as offer marketing and web development services to attain a professional presence. Associate Artist's work will be promoted locally and regionally in the gallery portfolio. Call or email us for more information.
Rent the Gallery
The 3800 sq. ft. gallery space is available to rent for business or private gatherings. For $65 per hour you can enjoy the unique an engaging environment of one of the areas largest and most diverse art galleries. We can arrange catering on a case by case basis. Studio 222 can accommodate most groups up to about 50 for tables and chairs, and well over 100 for a mixer style reception.
Support the Arts - Sponsor an event or become a "Gold Partner" or "Friend of 222".
A Friend of 222 is a program designed to allow people who want to support us but are not interested in donating at the "gold" level. Friends of 222 can give as much as $20 at a time and when they reach a donation level of $200, their name will be displayed on a plaque in the gallery recognizing the contributions. They will also be given a 10% discount on a one-time purchase of $100 or more.
A Gold Partner is any business that contributes $1000 or more to the gallery. They will be listed on a plaque in the gallery entryway and each year they participate will be engraved. This is a one-year membership to be listed on gallery correspondence, our website, and be promoted at certain events hosted by the gallery. Current employees with proof of employment are also entitled to a 10% discount on artwork over $100 (There may be some exceptions to this discount). This way, employers can offer a benefit to their employee that is unique and helps to promote the arts.
We will be offering adult and children's classes at a later date. Classes and schedules will be announced. Feedback is encouraged. Please tell us what you want to see. A space is being developed into lab type art classrooms for ceramic hand building and other hands on art disciplines. Adult classes will include art appreciation and general courses designed to help people understand art in a fun and easy to digest format.
