"Arts and Science"
December 2, 2005 through
December 7, 2005.
Theatre of Ted and Studio 222 proudly announce the world premiere of a
new full-length original play, Arts and Science by David Roby.
Arts and Science is a play about the disabled
body—its physical, emotional, and psychological warehouse. When the
“body different” is explored, what variances and similarities does the
investigator find? As spectators or participants, do we find ourselves
judging our own physical dimensions or celebrating our very own
diversity?
Five undergraduate Illinois State University actors are featured in this
ensemble piece including Shana Bender, Jason Brouwer, Connie Chojnacki,
Allison Dutton, and Jay Worthington.
The performance times are as follows: Friday December 2, Sunday December
4th, and Wednesday December 7th at 8:00 p.m.; and Saturday December 3rd,
Monday December 5th, and Tuesday December 6 at 10:00 p.m. For
reservations, please call 312-622-2888. Admission is $5.00 for students
with I.D. and $10.00 for adults.

Join Studio 222 in celebrating a showing of work by the
late Walter Bock. Opening night is Saturday, December 3rd from
7–9 pm
The showings of Walters
works have been rare, so we hope you will take advantage of this
opportunity. The show will consist of approximately 46 pieces
including “Milkweed Pods”, “Dandelions”, “Farm Scenes”, and “San
Diego Girls”. There are large oil paintings, powerful but simple
line drawings, pastels, and various other mediums all in the four
themes.

Laurie Larsen presents:
"Legacy of Lies"
What if everything you thought you
knew about your family turned out to be a lie?
Penelope Livingston has had an ache in her heart for twenty-five
years—ever since that traumatic day she gave her baby up for
adoption. Now she’s trying to locate her daughter. Research uncovers
a young
woman
named Claire who seems to be a
perfect match. The two women
believe it is Fate that they found each other, and they begin to
forge a happy friendship.
Unfortunately, only the baby’s father, Larry O’Neill knows the
truth—that he never allowed his daughter to be given up for
adoption. He raised the baby himself, with the help of his
babysitter, Sally, who quickly became his wife.
Now how does he keep Penelope off his daughter Melody’s trail, so
that he can keep his family intact and himself out of jail?
